Francis has expertise in commercial & corporate law, labor relations and sports law, assisting him to navigate the complex legal landscapes which form the intersection between the law and sport for clients.

With an LLB (Hons) from City, University of London, and an MBA from Macquarie Business School, Francis is qualified in both law and business management.  His experience as a professional athlete, including playing for the Australian Socceroos, uniquely positions Francis to understand and advise upon issue affecting sporting and other organisations throughout Australia and around the world.

As Chair of Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) for over four years, Francis has honed his governance skills, shaping policy and advocacy in sports. His tenure as Vice President, Deputy Chair and Board Member of FIFPro's ASIA/OCEANIA division furthered his skills in areas of sports governance, commercial and labour relations..
