NIKKI DRYDEN
Senior Lawyer
Nikki is a dual qualified Sport & Human Rights Lawyer with two decades of experience practising law and working in Australia, USA, UK, Canada, Kenya, and Sri Lanka. She brings the invaluable and unique experience of a two-time Olympic swimmer, Commonwealth medalist, and two-time Olympic journalist.
She specialises in the intersection of human right law, sport, integrity, and governance, advising athletes directly as well as sporting bodies and international organisations on legal and ethical best practices regarding athletes. Nikki helped to pioneer the field of sport & human rights law, advocating for greater accountability, good governance and transparency, and gender equality across global sport.
In addition to her experience as a practicing lawyer and consultant to sports, Nikki was previously the Human Rights Advisor at Sport Integrity Australia.
Nikki has a BA in International Relations from Brown University, a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, the International Olympic Committee’s Safeguarding Officer Certificate, and is qualified to practice law in NSW and New York.
